Yahken Amen, better known as Ken Ken Tha Boss is a SAG-AFTRA filmmaker, photographer, producer, published author and founder of Y.E.S. His career began on ABC's "Gabriel's Fire" (starring James Earl Jones & Madge Sinclair). He later appeared in "Kane & Able", "Kill'n Me Softly" and Warner Bros television series "The Parent 'Hood" as Daniel, boyfriend of the youngest daughter. As a child, Ken Ken was involved in Movies, Tv Commercials & Sport Leagues but by the age of thirteen he found an unmatched love for Hip Hop. Ken Ken wrote and co-produced his first song "Wild Out" that same year and it quickly became a success in his hometown of St Louis, MO. Gaining popularity in streets and local skating rinks like "Saints" & "The Palace" His influence started to spread throughout the midwest and southern states of America as he followed up with more hit songs such as "These Aint What They Want", "Bapes On My Feet", "Fuck Being Famous" and "Pistol Play" featuring Soulja Boy. Yahken performed & hosted parties all over the South & Mid-West region of America and by the age of 17 Ken Ken Tha Boss became a teen sensation recognized as one of the pioneers of his generation among Soulja Boy and Lil B who are collaborators of Yahken. He's most known for shining light on meditation and crystal wearing with his wives now but his Guru reputation and street background has made him a living legend throughout the Hip Hop Culture for the 90's babies generation. Yahken is a major figure in todays social media era and honored for his role in the Black Conscious Community even though his contributions are mostly behind the scenes. You can't hire him to take photos at your weddings but Yahken will capture the most tasteful Body-Paint art on the pacific coast beaches. Yahken still writes & produces songs for many international artist and can be seen alongside renown teachers in the conscious community like Brother Polight. Yahken founded his record label & publishing company which launched the careers of teen rap group "Forever Young" & the Rock Band "The Smooth Talkin' Perverts". He credits his mother, father and uncle Creadell "Red" Jones for his extensive music catalog which helps his range as an artist. Creadell "Red" Jones is best known as the singer/song writer in thelegendary soul band out of Chicago "The Chi-Lites". The Chi-Lites are most known for worldwide #1 Hits "Oh Girl" | "Have You Seen Her" & "Are You My Woman" which was later sampled for Beyonce & Jay Z's biggestrecord "Crazy In Love". "Heard It Through The Grapevine" is also performed by Yahken's uncle Creadell and then later remade by the late great Marvin Gaye and that song is among a long list of music that inspired Yahken to become a artist. Yahken Amen's debut album "Spiritual Warrior" & documentary "Ancestors Approved" are slated for a release in the winter of 2022.
