Yahken Amen, better known as Ken Ken Tha Boss, is an SAG-AFTRA script writer, documentary filmmaker, photographer, producer, song writer, published author, painter, SHAMAN and founder of Y.E.S. His career began on ABC's "Gabriel's Fire" (starring James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair). He later appeared in "Kane & Able", "Kill'n Me Softly" and Warner Bros television series "The Parent 'Hood" as Daniel, the boyfriend of the youngest daughter. As a child, Ken Ken was involved in movies, television commercials & sport leagues but by the age of thirteen he found a unmatched love for Hip Hop. Ken Ken co-produced, wrote & recorded his first song "Wild Out" that same year and it quickly became a success in his hometown of St Louis, MO then spread throughout the midwest and southern states of America. Ken Ken followed up with more hit songs such as "Uh Oh", "Bapes On My Feet", "Fuck Being Famous" and "Pistol Play" featuring Soulja Boy. Using his growing fame to his advantage, Yahken started performing & hosting parties and by the age of seventeen "Ken Ken Tha Boss" became a living legend and teen sensation recognized as one of the pioneers of trap music among Soulja Boy and others. Yahken's efforts has a huge influence on America's mixtape & trap music origins til this day. Yahkenis most known for being a spiritual guru and a teen sensation throughout the midwest & southern states of America for the 90's babies generation. Now he's most recognized as an Shaman, spiritual leader & artist within the black conscious community. Yahken is mostly behind the scenes but still a major figure in todays social media era and honored for his role in one of the biggest movements in St. Louis history. Yahken recorded five mixtapes, hosted & performed at more than 250 events, featured on eight albums & founded his own record label which launched the careers of Forever Young & The Smooth Talkin' Perverts. Yahken produces & writes songs for many international artist and can also be seen alongside other teachers in the black conscious community like "Brother Polight". Yahken is also known for being the nephew of Creadell "Red" Jones. "Red" is best known for being an producer, song writer & bass singer for the legendary Chicago based recording group "The Chi-Lites". The Chi Lites are best known for pioneering the soul sound and worldwide #1 hits like "Oh Girl", "Have You Seen Her" & "Are You My Woman" which was sampled for Beyonce & Jay Z's biggestrecord to date "Crazy In Love". "Heard It Through The Grapevine" is also originally performed by Yahken's uncle and the song was later remixed by the late great Marvin Gaye and that record is among a few that actually inspired Yahken to create music. Yahken Amen's debut album, "Spiritual Warrior" & documentary "Her Body positivity" are slated for a release in the winter of 2020.
